01DAY 01 · SCHEDULE 01
15:00 · Cliff temple & Seon heritage
After the temple’s confirmed arrival time, explore the permitted approach and learn how the limestone grotto and carved Buddha relate to Golgulsa’s history. The guide explains respectful behavior and the physical demands of the cliff steps before choosing a suitable route.
Day 01
02DAY 01 · SCHEDULE 02
17:00 · Breath-led movement introduction
Request an introductory Sunmudo session within the temple’s available program. Start with comfortable joint mobility and slow coordinated breathing; the instructor explains how Seon movement differs from competitive martial arts.
Day 01
03DAY 01 · SCHEDULE 03
19:00 · Evening sitting & listening practice
Join the evening meditation or quiet sitting period offered by the temple. Practice a supported posture and attention to the sound of bells, with an opt-out or seated alternative to ritual bows.
Day 01
04DAY 02 · SCHEDULE 01
05:30 · Morning ceremony & seated meditation
Choose the temple’s early service and sitting practice, following the published morning rhythm. Observe chanting respectfully and explore a short breathing practice without a requirement to share the religious belief.
Day 02
05DAY 02 · SCHEDULE 02
06:10 · Walking meditation
Follow the temple’s walking-practice period with deliberate steps and an awareness of posture and sounds. The route and pace are adapted to mobility and weather, using safer ground instead of steep rock access when needed.
Day 02
06DAY 02 · SCHEDULE 03
09:00 · Sunmudo foundations
Join the morning training block to learn stable stance, basic balance and coordinated movement. Ask for beginner options rather than advanced kicks, inversions or partner contact; document a short sequence to revisit later.
Day 02
07DAY 03 · SCHEDULE 01
05:30 · Seon stillness & breath observation
Return to early sitting, noticing how attention changes after a night in the temple. Use a chair or cushion as agreed, and keep the practice short enough for comfort rather than trying to achieve a spiritual milestone.
Day 03
08DAY 03 · SCHEDULE 02
09:00 · Seon yoga & qigong-inspired flow
Focus the available Sunmudo practice on slow Seon yoga, balance and controlled transitions. Learn how to keep breathing natural while shifting weight; exact teaching content is selected by the temple instructor.
Day 03
09DAY 03 · SCHEDULE 03
15:00 · Sunmudo demonstration & practice journal
When scheduled, watch Golgulsa’s demonstration and compare its advanced movements with your beginner sequence. On Mondays, Tuesdays or a cancelled demonstration, request an instructor-led review or take a guided heritage observation walk instead; the substitute is agreed before booking.
Day 03
10DAY 04 · SCHEDULE 01
05:30 · Final morning meditation
Join one final optional temple sitting period, using the posture and attention skills developed over the stay. Review which practice feels realistic to continue after travel.
Day 04
11DAY 04 · SCHEDULE 02
06:10 · Mindful walking & landscape review
Complete a last gentle walking practice through the permitted grounds, connecting the cliff architecture, forest sounds and changing morning light with your cultural notes.
Day 04
12DAY 04 · SCHEDULE 03
09:00 · Personal Sunmudo sequence
Use the morning class to consolidate a short beginner sequence with the instructor’s guidance. Ask about safe modifications and record the sequence before the temple’s late-morning checkout and onward transfer.

PACKAGE FAQ
Before you confirm your journey.
Important details about payment, changes, cancellation and package arrangements.
01What will be included in my final quotation?+
Accommodation, confirmed classes, meals, transfers, guiding and interpretation can be bundled through suppliers. Your itemized quotation states the agreed services, dates, room arrangement and any additional costs before you confirm. Requesting a quotation requires no payment.
02Can a group of up to 20 guests join?+
Yes, we accept requests for 1–20 guests. Quiet-space capacity, room availability and instructor ratios are checked before confirmation. A larger party may use smaller class groups and staggered sessions; the quotation explains the arrangements.
03Are these fixed departures or confirmed partnerships?+
These are tailored itinerary proposals using real Korean destinations. They do not imply a contracted partnership or a reserved session. Operating days, English or other language support, photography rules and supplier availability are verified for your dates. Any meaningful substitution is agreed with you.
04Can beginners take part?+
Tell us your experience, mobility, dietary needs and any restrictions when requesting a quotation. Movement is adapted by the instructor, religious practices are voluntary, and seated alternatives can be requested. These programs are cultural and wellbeing experiences, not medical treatment.
05What should I know before booking this program?+
A three-night stay, session language and room allocation require temple confirmation. The published demonstration does not run on Mondays or Tuesdays. Monk tea sessions have attendance and weekday conditions and are not promised in this itinerary. Early mornings, shared simple rooms and temple rules form part of the experience; participation is voluntary and movement follows instructor guidance.
